The most common side effects of Alinol 10mg Tablet are - Drowsiness, Unusual Hair Loss, Rash, Nausea, Vomiting , Diarrhea, Headache
These side effects can usually occur in patients. However, these are only indicative and not all patients will experience them.
Precautions while taking Alinol 10mg Tablet
Do not use Alinol 10mg Tablet if you are allergic to - Allopurinol
If you have heart disease, liver or kidney disease, drug or alcohol addiction, consult your doctor before using Alinol 10mg Tablet.
If you are allergic to any medicine or food, consult your doctor before using this medicine.
Use this medicine under the supervision of your doctor.
To avoid an adverse reaction, consult your doctor if you are already taking other medicines.
Dosage of Alinol 10mg Tablet
Alinol 10mg Tablet contains - Allopurinol
Allopurinol inhibits uric acid production by inhibiting xanthine oxidase, the enzyme that converts hypoxanthine and xanthine to uric acid. Allopurinol is metabolized to oxipurinol, which also inhibits xanthine oxidase.
Overdose of Alinol 10mg Tablet
The dosage of Alinol 10mg Tablet depends on many factors such as the patient age, health, medical condition or history of the patient and many other conditions.

Onset of Action of Alinol 10mg Tablet
If you forget to take a dose of Alinol 10mg Tablet, do not take two doses at the same time, there is a risk of overdose.

Drug :-
ACE Inhibitors: Increased risk of hypersensitivity reactions.
Amoxicillin, Ampicillin: Increased risk of rash.
Azathioprine, Mercaptopurine: Inactivation of these drugs.
Chlorpropamide: Increased risk of hypoglycemia in patients with renal insufficiency.
Cyclophosphamide, other Cytotoxic drugs: Enhanced bone marrow suppression.
Dicumarol: Increased half-life and anticoagulant action of dicumarol.
Thiazide Duretics: Possibly increased risk of allopurinol toxicity.
Uricosuric agents: Increased urinary excretion of uric acid.
Vitamin C large doses: Possibly urine acidification and increased risk of renal calculus formation.
