Side effects of Geripod 8mg Capsule
The most common side effects of Geripod 8mg Capsule are - Asthenia, Dizziness, Headache, Insomnia, Orthostatic Hypotension, Nasal Congestion, Nasopharyngitis, Rhinorrhea, Sinusitis, Abdominal Pain, Diarrhea, Retrograde Ejaculation
These side effects can usually occur in patients. However, these are only indicative and not all patients will experience them.
Precautions while taking Geripod 8mg Capsule
Do not use Geripod 8mg Capsule if you are allergic to - Silodosin
If you have heart disease, liver or kidney disease, drug or alcohol addiction, consult your doctor before using Geripod 8mg Capsule.
If you are allergic to any medicine or food, consult your doctor before using this medicine.
Use this medicine under the supervision of your doctor.
To avoid an adverse reaction, consult your doctor if you are already taking other medicines.
Dosage of Geripod 8mg Capsule
Geripod 8mg Capsule contains - Silodosin
Silodosin causes relaxation of smooth muscles in the prostate and bladder tissues by antagonizing postsynaptic alpha adrenoreceptors, thereby improving urine flow and reducing signs and symptoms of BPH.
Overdose of Geripod 8mg Capsule
The dosage of Geripod 8mg Capsule depends on many factors such as the patient age, health, medical condition or history of the patient and many other conditions.
Please use this medicine as prescribed by your doctor.
Onset of Action of Geripod 8mg Capsule
If you forget to take a dose of Geripod 8mg Capsule, do not take two doses at the same time, there is a risk of overdose.

Drug :- Alpha blockers:
May cause interactions.
Antihypertensives:
May cause dizziness and orthostatic hypotension.
Moderate CYP3A4 inhibitors (diltiazem, erythromycin, verapamil):
May increase silodosin level.
