The most common side effects of Oxobid-OZ 200mg/500mg Tablet are - Nausea, Vomiting, Dizziness, Dryness In Mouth, Altered Taste, Abdominal Pain, Agitation, Anxiety, Fever, Constipation, Allergic Reaction, Impaired Concentration, Sweating, Headache
These side effects can usually occur in patients. However, these are only indicative and not all patients will experience them.

Do not use Oxobid-OZ 200mg/500mg Tablet if you are allergic to - Ofloxacin, Ornidazole

Oxobid-OZ 200mg/500mg Tablet contains - Ofloxacin, Ornidazole
Ofloxacin inhibits synthesis of the bacterial enzyme DNA gyrase by counteracting excessive supercoiling of DNA during replication or transcription. Inhibition of DNA gyrase
causes rapid- and slow-growing bacterial cells to die.
Ornidazole improves the paitaint's condition by killing the infection causing bacteria & inhibiting the growth of microorganism.

The dosage of Oxobid-OZ 200mg/500mg Tablet depends on many factors such as the patient age, health, medical condition or history of the patient and many other conditions.

Interactions
Drug :-
aluminum-, calcium-, or magnesiumcontaining antacids, didanosine, ferrous sulfate, magnesium-containing laxatives, multivitamins, sevelamer, sucralfate, zinc:
Decreased absorption of oral ofloxacin.
probenecid: Decreased ofloxacin excretion, increased risk of toxicity.
procainamide: Decreased renal clearance of procainamide.
warfarin: Possibly increased anticoagulant activity and risk of bleeding.
