The most common side effects of Onglyza 2.5mg Tablet are - Headache, Facial Edema, Peripheral Edema, Abdominal Pain, Gastroenteritis, Vomiting
These side effects can usually occur in patients. However, these are only indicative and not all patients will experience them.
Precautions while taking Onglyza 2.5mg Tablet
Do not use Onglyza 2.5mg Tablet if you are allergic to - Saxagliptin
If you have heart disease, liver or kidney disease, drug or alcohol addiction, consult your doctor before using Onglyza 2.5mg Tablet.
If you are allergic to any medicine or food, consult your doctor before using this medicine.
Use this medicine under the supervision of your doctor.

Onglyza 2.5mg Tablet contains - Saxagliptin
Saxagliptin inhibits DPP-4, an enzyme that rapidly inactivates incretin hormones, which play a part in the body's regulation of glucose. By increasing active incretin levels, drug helps to increase insulin release and decrease circulating glucose.
Overdose of Onglyza 2.5mg Tablet
The dosage of Onglyza 2.5mg Tablet depends on many factors such as the patient age, health, medical condition or history of the patient and many other conditions.

Onset of Action of Onglyza 2.5mg Tablet
If you forget to take a dose of Onglyza 2.5mg Tablet, do not take two doses at the same time, there is a risk of overdose.
