Lice, Scabies
Side effects of Scabex 1%/0.1% Lotion
The most common side effects of Scabex 1%/0.1% Lotion are - Peeling, Swelling, Dryness, Irritation, Rash, Redness, Itching, Nausea, Acne
These side effects can usually occur in patients. However, these are only indicative and not all patients will experience them.
Precautions while taking Scabex 1%/0.1% Lotion
Do not use Scabex 1%/0.1% Lotion if you are allergic to - Lindane/Gamma Benzene Hexachloride , Cetrimide
If you have heart disease, liver or kidney disease, drug or alcohol addiction, consult your doctor before using Scabex 1%/0.1% Lotion.
If you are allergic to any medicine or food, consult your doctor before using this medicine.
Use this medicine under the supervision of your doctor.
To avoid an adverse reaction, consult your doctor if you are already taking other medicines.
Dosage of Scabex 1%/0.1% Lotion
Scabex 1%/0.1% Lotion contains - Lindane/Gamma Benzene Hexachloride , Cetrimide
Lindane works by killing the tiny mites and their eggs, which cause scabies.
Cetrimide has three possible modes of action : protein denaturation, enzyme inactivation and membrane damage. At relatively low concentrations, the action of cetrimide is bacteriostatic, whilst at higher concentrations the action is bactericidal.
Overdose of Scabex 1%/0.1% Lotion
The dosage of Scabex 1%/0.1% Lotion depends on many factors such as the patient age, health, medical condition or history of the patient and many other conditions.
