The most common side effects of Iotim 0.5% Eye Drop are - Fever, Headache, Insomnia, Sleep Disturbance, Chest Pain, Abdominal Pain, Constipation, Diarrhea,Nausea, Vomiting
These side effects can usually occur in patients. However, these are only indicative and not all patients will experience them.
Precautions while taking Iotim 0.5% Eye Drop
Do not use Iotim 0.5% Eye Drop if you are allergic to - Timolol
If you have heart disease, liver or kidney disease, drug or alcohol addiction, consult your doctor before using Iotim 0.5% Eye Drop.
If you are allergic to any medicine or food, consult your doctor before using this medicine.
Use this medicine under the supervision of your doctor.
To avoid an adverse reaction, consult your doctor if you are already taking other medicines.
Dosage of Iotim 0.5% Eye Drop
Iotim 0.5% Eye Drop contains - Timolol
Timolol work by lowering the pressure in your eye. It is thought they do this by reducing the amount of fluid that you make that fills the front part of your eye (called aqueous humour). By reducing the amount of fluid produced, it reduces the pressure within your eye.
Overdose of Iotim 0.5% Eye Drop
The dosage of Iotim 0.5% Eye Drop depends on many factors such as the patient age, health, medical condition or history of the patient and many other conditions.

Onset of Action of Iotim 0.5% Eye Drop
If you forget to take a dose of Iotim 0.5% Eye Drop, do not take two doses at the same time, there is a risk of overdose.

Interactions
Drug :- Calcium channel blockers, cardiac glycosides, quinidine:
May increase risk of adverse
cardiac effects if large amounts of timolol are systemically absorbed.
Insulin

oral antidiabetic agents:
May mask symptoms of hypoglycemia (such as tachycardia) as a
result of beta blockade.
