Rebagen-Otic Capsule is used for the treatment or prevention of the following disease(s):
Mucosal Protection, Healing of Gastroduodenal Ulcers and Treatment of Gastritis
Side effects of Rebagen-Otic Capsule
The most common side effects of Rebagen-Otic Capsule are - Fever, Headache, Insomnia, Sleep Disturbance, Chest Pain, Abdominal Pain, Constipation, Diarrhea,Nausea, Vomiting
These side effects can usually occur in patients. However, these are only indicative and not all patients will experience them.
Precautions while taking Rebagen-Otic Capsule
Do not use Rebagen-Otic Capsule if you are allergic to - Rebamipide, Alpha Lipoic Acid, Acetylcysteine
If you have heart disease, liver or kidney disease, drug or alcohol addiction, consult your doctor before using Rebagen-Otic Capsule.
If you are allergic to any medicine or food, consult your doctor before using this medicine.
Use this medicine under the supervision of your doctor.
To avoid an adverse reaction, consult your doctor if you are already taking other medicines.
Dosage of Rebagen-Otic Capsule
Rebagen-Otic Capsule contains - Rebamipide, Alpha Lipoic Acid, Acetylcysteine
Rebamipide enhances mucosal defense, scavenging free radicals, temporarily activating genes encoding cyclooxygenase-2.
Alpha Lipoic Acid is a potent antioxidant with insulin-mimetic and anti-inflammatory activity. In the diet, it is quickly absorbed, transported to the intracellular compartments and reduced to dihydrolipoic acid (DHLA) under the action of enzymes.
Acetylcysteine is used to help thin and loosen mucus in the airways due to certain lung diseases (such as emphysema, bronchitis, cystic fibrosis, pneumonia). This effect helps you to clear the mucus from your lungs so that you can breathe easier.
Overdose of Rebagen-Otic Capsule
The dosage of Rebagen-Otic Capsule depends on many factors such as the patient age, health, medical condition or history of the patient and many other conditions.

Onset of Action of Rebagen-Otic Capsule
If you forget to take a dose of Rebagen-Otic Capsule, do not take two doses at the same time, there is a risk of overdose.
