Hormone Replacement Therapy, Post Menopausal Osteoporosis, Contraception
Side effects of Femoston 1mg/5mg Tablet
The most common side effects of Femoston 1mg/5mg Tablet are - Headache, Altered Refraction, Dry Eyes, Dry Mouth, Glaucoma, Glossitis, Hearing Loss, Lip Swelling, Loss of Taste, Constipation, Diarrhea, Duodenal or Stomach Ulcers
These side effects can usually occur in patients. However, these are only indicative and not all patients will experience them.
Precautions while taking Femoston 1mg/5mg Tablet
Do not use Femoston 1mg/5mg Tablet if you are allergic to - Estradiol, Dydrogesterone
If you have heart disease, liver or kidney disease, drug or alcohol addiction, consult your doctor before using Femoston 1mg/5mg Tablet.
If you are allergic to any medicine or food, consult your doctor before using this medicine.
Use this medicine under the supervision of your doctor.
To avoid an adverse reaction, consult your doctor if you are already taking other medicines.
Dosage of Femoston 1mg/5mg Tablet
Femoston 1mg/5mg Tablet contains - Estradiol, Dydrogesterone
Estradiol triggers a series of events that lead to a surge in luteinizing hormone and, in turn, induces ovulation. After ovulation, during the luteal phase, estradiol works in conjunction with progesterone to prepare the womb lining for implantation.
Dydrogesterone works by regulating the healthy growth and normal shedding of the womb lining by acting on progesterone receptors in the uterus.
Overdose of Femoston 1mg/5mg Tablet
The dosage of Femoston 1mg/5mg Tablet depends on many factors such as the patient age, health, medical condition or history of the patient and many other conditions.

Onset of Action of Femoston 1mg/5mg Tablet
If you forget to take a dose of Femoston 1mg/5mg Tablet, do not take two doses at the same time, there is a risk of overdose.
