Albavir Ped 60mg/30mg Tablet contains - Abacavir, Lamivudine
Abacavir inhibits activity of HIV-1 reverse transcriptase by competing with natural substrate dGTP and by its incorporation into viral DNA. Therapeutic effects Inhibits/ prevents HIV replication in infected cells.
Lamivudine is a synthetic nucleoside analogue that inhibits HIV and HBV reverse transcription via viral DNA chain termination.
