Hypertension and Chronic Stable Angina
Side effects of Amodep AT Tablet
The most common side effects of Amodep AT Tablet are - Fever, Headache, Insomnia, Sleep Disturbance, Chest Pain, Abdominal Pain, Constipation, Diarrhea,Nausea, Vomiting
These side effects can usually occur in patients. However, these are only indicative and not all patients will experience them.
Precautions while taking Amodep AT Tablet
Do not use Amodep AT Tablet if you are allergic to - Amlodipine, Atenolol
If you have heart disease, liver or kidney disease, drug or alcohol addiction, consult your doctor before using Amodep AT Tablet.
If you are allergic to any medicine or food, consult your doctor before using this medicine.
Use this medicine under the supervision of your doctor.
To avoid an adverse reaction, consult your doctor if you are already taking other medicines.
Dosage of Amodep AT Tablet
Amodep AT Tablet contains - Amlodipine, Atenolol
Amlodipine works by relaxing blood vessels so blood can flow more easily.
Atenolol inhibits stimulation of beta1-receptor sites, located mainly in the heart, decreasing cardiac excitability, cardiac output, and myocardial oxygen demand. Atenolol also acts to decrease release of renin from the kidneys, aiding in reducing blood pressure.
Overdose of Amodep AT Tablet
The dosage of Amodep AT Tablet depends on many factors such as the patient age, health, medical condition or history of the patient and many other conditions.
Please use this medicine as prescribed by your doctor.
Onset of Action of Amodep AT Tablet
If you forget to take a dose of Amodep AT Tablet, do not take two doses at the same time, there is a risk of overdose.

Interactions
Drug :-
beta blockers: Possibly excessive hypotension.
fentanyl: Increased risk of severe hypotension and increased fluid volume requirements during surgery.
