The most common side effects of Atekind D 50mg/2.5mg Tablet are - Dizziness, Drowsiness, Fatigue, Fever, Lethargy, Light-Headedness, Short-Term Memory Loss, Vertigo
These side effects can usually occur in patients. However, these are only indicative and not all patients will experience them.
Precautions while taking Atekind D 50mg/2.5mg Tablet
Do not use Atekind D 50mg/2.5mg Tablet if you are allergic to - Atenolol, Indapamide
If you have heart disease, liver or kidney disease, drug or alcohol addiction, consult your doctor before using Atekind D 50mg/2.5mg Tablet.

Atekind D 50mg/2.5mg Tablet contains - Atenolol, Indapamide
Atenolol inhibits stimulation of beta1-receptor sites, located mainly in the heart, decreasing cardiac excitability, cardiac output, and myocardial oxygen demand. Atenolol also acts to decrease release of renin from the kidneys, aiding in reducing blood pressure.
Indapamide enhances excretion of sodium chloride and water by interfering with sodium transport in the distal tubule.
Overdose of Atekind D 50mg/2.5mg Tablet
The dosage of Atekind D 50mg/2.5mg Tablet depends on many factors such as the patient age, health, medical condition or history of the patient and many other conditions.

If you forget to take a dose of Atekind D 50mg/2.5mg Tablet, do not take two doses at the same time, there is a risk of overdose.

Interactions
Drug :-
amiodarone: Additive atenolol effects calcium channel blockers, such as verapamil and diltiazem: Possibly symptomatic bradycardia and conduction abnormalities.
catecholamine-depleting drugs, such as reserpine: Additive antihypertensive effect.
clonidine: Rebound hypertension.
disopyramide: Increased risk of severe bradycardia, asystole, and heart failure.
