Interactions
Drug :- Albuterol:
May increase CV effects. Use together cautiously.
MAO inhibitors:
May cause hyperthermia, rigidity, myoclonus, autonomic instability with possible
rapid fluctuations of vital signs, and mental status changes. Avoid use within 2 weeks of MAO
inhibitor.
Pressor agents:
May increase BP. Use together cautiously.
Strong CYP2D6 inhibitors (paroxetine, fluoxetine, quinidine):
May increase atomoxetine level.
Reduce first dose. Increase to the usual target dose of 80 mg only if signs and symptoms fail to
improve after 4 weeks and the initial dose is well tolerated.
