Bacterial Infections (Urinary Tract Infections, Skin, Soft Tissue)
Side effects of Azinam 250mg Tablet
The most common side effects of Azinam 250mg Tablet are - Abdominal Pain, Vertigo, Diarrhoea, Nausea, Headache, Vomiting
These side effects can usually occur in patients. However, these are only indicative and not all patients will experience them.
Precautions while taking Azinam 250mg Tablet
Do not use Azinam 250mg Tablet if you are allergic to - Aztreonam
If you have heart disease, liver or kidney disease, drug or alcohol addiction, consult your doctor before using Azinam 250mg Tablet.

Use this medicine under the supervision of your doctor.

Dosage of Azinam 250mg Tablet
Azinam 250mg Tablet contains - Aztreonam
Aztreonam inhibits bacterial cell wall synthesis in susceptible aerobic gram-negative bacteria. These bacteria assemble rigid, cross-linked cell walls in several steps. Aztreonam affects the final cross-linking step by inactivating penicillin-binding protein 3 the enzyme that links cell wall strands, which causes cell lysis and death.
Overdose of Azinam 250mg Tablet
The dosage of Azinam 250mg Tablet depends on many factors such as the patient age, health, medical condition or history of the patient and many other conditions.

Onset of Action of Azinam 250mg Tablet
If you forget to take a dose of Azinam 250mg Tablet, do not take two doses at the same time, there is a risk of overdose.

Interactions
Drug :-
aminoglycosides prolonged or high-dose therapy: Increased risk of nephrotoxicity and ototoxicity.
cefoxitin, imipenem: Possibly antagonized action of aztreonam.
furosemide, probenecid: Possibly increased blood aztreonam level.
