Azoran 25mg Tablet is used for the treatment or prevention of the following disease(s):
Rheumatoid Arthritis, to Prevent Kidney Rejection after Transplantation
Side effects of Azoran 25mg Tablet
The most common side effects of Azoran 25mg Tablet are - Fever, Malaise, Abdominal Pain, Diarrhea, Nausea, Pancreatitis, Vomiting, Alopecia, Rash
These side effects can usually occur in patients. However, these are only indicative and not all patients will experience them.
Precautions while taking Azoran 25mg Tablet
Do not use Azoran 25mg Tablet if you are allergic to - Azathioprine
If you have heart disease, liver or kidney disease, drug or alcohol addiction, consult your doctor before using Azoran 25mg Tablet.
If you are allergic to any medicine or food, consult your doctor before using this medicine.
Use this medicine under the supervision of your doctor.
To avoid an adverse reaction, consult your doctor if you are already taking other medicines.
Dosage of Azoran 25mg Tablet
Azoran 25mg Tablet contains - Azathioprine
Azathioprine may prevent proliferation and differentiation of activated B and T cells by interfering with purine protein and nucleic acid DNA and RNA synthesis.
Overdose of Azoran 25mg Tablet
The dosage of Azoran 25mg Tablet depends on many factors such as the patient age, health, medical condition or history of the patient and many other conditions.
Please use this medicine as prescribed by your doctor.
Onset of Action of Azoran 25mg Tablet
If you forget to take a dose of Azoran 25mg Tablet, do not take two doses at the same time, there is a risk of overdose.

Interactions
Drug :-
ACE inhibitors and drugs that affect bone marrow and cell development in bone marrow, such as co-trimoxazole: Possibly severe leukopenia.
allopurinol: Possibly increased therapeutic and adverse effects of azathioprine.
anticoagulants: Possibly decreased anticoagulant action.
cyclosporine: Possibly decreased plasmacyclosporine level methotrexate: Possibly increased plasma level of azathioprine's metabolite, 6-mercaptopurine, which can lead to cell death.
nondepolarizing neuromuscular blockers: Possibly decreased or reversed action of neuromuscular blocker.
