The most common side effects of Bitatel M 40mg/25mg Tablet SR are - Headache, Back Pain, Dizziness, Atrial Fibrillation, Abdominal Pain, Diarrhea, Sinus Inflammation, Indigestion, Nausea, Vomiting

Precautions while taking Bitatel M 40mg/25mg Tablet SR
Do not use Bitatel M 40mg/25mg Tablet SR if you are allergic to - Telmisartan, Metoprolol

Dosage of Bitatel M 40mg/25mg Tablet SR
Bitatel M 40mg/25mg Tablet SR contains - Telmisartan, Metoprolol
Telmisartan blocks angiotensin II from binding to receptor sites in many tissues, including vascular smooth muscle and adrenal glands. This action inhibits the vasoconstrictive and aldosterone-secreting effects of angiotensin II, which reduces blood pressure.
Metoprolol is a selective beta blocker that selectively blocks beta receptors, decreases cardiac output, peripheral resistance and cardiac oxygen consumption, and depresses renin secretion.

digoxin: Increased peak blood digoxin level and risk of digitalis toxicity.
diuretics, other antihypertensives: Enhanced hypotensive effect.
lithium: Increased serum lithium levels and toxicity.
