Infections Caused by Susceptible Organisms (Ear, Nose, Throat, GU Tract, Skin, and Soft-Tissue)
Side effects of Bromolin 125 mg/4 mg Tablet DT
The most common side effects of Bromolin 125 mg/4 mg Tablet DT are - Allergic Reaction, Anaphylaxis, Fever, Rash , Jaundice, Hepatic Dysfunction, Nausea, Vomiting
These side effects can usually occur in patients. However, these are only indicative and not all patients will experience them.
Precautions while taking Bromolin 125 mg/4 mg Tablet DT
Do not use Bromolin 125 mg/4 mg Tablet DT if you are allergic to - Amoxicillin, Bromhexine
If you have heart disease, liver or kidney disease, drug or alcohol addiction, consult your doctor before using Bromolin 125 mg/4 mg Tablet DT.
If you are allergic to any medicine or food, consult your doctor before using this medicine.
Use this medicine under the supervision of your doctor.

Dosage of Bromolin 125 mg/4 mg Tablet DT
Bromolin 125 mg/4 mg Tablet DT contains - Amoxicillin, Bromhexine
Amoxicillin kills bacteria by binding to and inactivating penicillin-binding proteins on the inner bacterial cell wall, weakening the bacterial cell wall and causing lysis.
Bromhexine acts on the mucus at the formative stages in the glands, within the mucus-secreting cells.
Overdose of Bromolin 125 mg/4 mg Tablet DT
The dosage of Bromolin 125 mg/4 mg Tablet DT depends on many factors such as the patient age, health, medical condition or history of the patient and many other conditions.

Onset of Action of Bromolin 125 mg/4 mg Tablet DT
If you forget to take a dose of Bromolin 125 mg/4 mg Tablet DT, do not take two doses at the same time, there is a risk of overdose.

Interactions
Drug :-
allopurinol: Increased risk of rash.
chloramphenicol, erythromycins, sulfonamides, tetracyclines: Reduced bactericidal effect of amoxicillin.
methotrexate: Increased risk of methotrexate toxicity.
oral contraceptives with estrogen: Possibly reduced effectiveness of contraceptive.
probenecid: Increased amoxicillin effects.
