Side effects of Capsy 500mg Tablet
The most common side effects of Capsy 500mg Tablet are - Dizziness, Fatigue, Headache, Insomnia, Paresthesia, Pyrexia, Lethargy, Peripheral Neuropathy, Asthenia, Diarrhea, Nausea, Vomiting, Stomatitis
These side effects can usually occur in patients. However, these are only indicative and not all patients will experience them.
Precautions while taking Capsy 500mg Tablet
Do not use Capsy 500mg Tablet if you are allergic to - Capecitabine
If you have heart disease, liver or kidney disease, drug or alcohol addiction, consult your doctor before using Capsy 500mg Tablet.
If you are allergic to any medicine or food, consult your doctor before using this medicine.
Use this medicine under the supervision of your doctor.
To avoid an adverse reaction, consult your doctor if you are already taking other medicines.
Dosage of Capsy 500mg Tablet
Capsy 500mg Tablet contains - Capecitabine
Capecitabine converted to active 5-FU, which causes cellular injury by interfering with DNA synthesis to inhibit cell division and with RNA processing and protein synthesis.
Overdose of Capsy 500mg Tablet
The dosage of Capsy 500mg Tablet depends on many factors such as the patient age, health, medical condition or history of the patient and many other conditions.

Onset of Action of Capsy 500mg Tablet
If you forget to take a dose of Capsy 500mg Tablet, do not take two doses at the same time, there is a risk of overdose.

Interactions
Drug :- Antacids containing aluminum hydroxide and magnesium hydroxide:
May increase
exposure to capecitabine and its metabolites. Monitor patient.
Fosphenytoin, phenytoin:
May increase toxicity or fosphenytoin/phenytoin effect. Consider therapy
modification or monitor phenytoin level.
Leucovorin:
May increase cytotoxic effects of 5-FU with enhanced toxicity. Monitor patient carefully.
