The most common side effects of Cefi X L 200mg Tablet are - Nausea, Vomiting, Dizziness, Dryness In Mouth, Altered Taste, Abdominal Pain, Agitation, Anxiety, Fever, Constipation, Allergic Reaction, Impaired Concentration, Sweating, Headache
These side effects can usually occur in patients. However, these are only indicative and not all patients will experience them.
Precautions while taking Cefi X L 200mg Tablet
Do not use Cefi X L 200mg Tablet if you are allergic to - Cefixime, Cloxacillin NA
If you have heart disease, liver or kidney disease, drug or alcohol addiction, consult your doctor before using Cefi X L 200mg Tablet.
If you are allergic to any medicine or food, consult your doctor before using this medicine.
Use this medicine under the supervision of your doctor.
To avoid an adverse reaction, consult your doctor if you are already taking other medicines.
Dosage of Cefi X L 200mg Tablet
Cefi X L 200mg Tablet contains - Cefixime, Cloxacillin NA
Cefixime interferes with bacterial cell wall synthesis by inhibiting the final step in the crosslinking of peptidoglycan strands. Peptidoglycan makes cell membranes rigid and
protective. Without it, bacterial cells rupture and die.
Cloxacillin inhibits cell wall synthesis and causes cell lysis and death in bacteria that make rigid, cross-linked cell walls in several steps. Cloxacillin affects the final stage of crosslinking by binding with and inactivating penicillin-binding protein, the enzyme that causes linkage in cell wall strands.

The dosage of Cefi X L 200mg Tablet depends on many factors such as the patient age, health, medical condition or history of the patient and many other conditions.

Onset of Action of Cefi X L 200mg Tablet
If you forget to take a dose of Cefi X L 200mg Tablet, do not take two doses at the same time, there is a risk of overdose.
