Side effects of Clostran 9gm Sachet
The most common side effects of Clostran 9gm Sachet are - Dizziness, Headache, Vertigo, Anxiety, Fatigue, Insomnia, Syncope, Tinnitus, Abdominal Discomfort, Constipation, Fecal Impaction, Nausea, Anorexia, Diarrhea, Flatulence
These side effects can usually occur in patients. However, these are only indicative and not all patients will experience them.
Precautions while taking Clostran 9gm Sachet
Do not use Clostran 9gm Sachet if you are allergic to - Cholestyramine
If you have heart disease, liver or kidney disease, drug or alcohol addiction, consult your doctor before using Clostran 9gm Sachet.
If you are allergic to any medicine or food, consult your doctor before using this medicine.
Use this medicine under the supervision of your doctor.
To avoid an adverse reaction, consult your doctor if you are already taking other medicines.
Dosage of Clostran 9gm Sachet
Clostran 9gm Sachet contains - Cholestyramine
Cholestyramine works by attaching to bile acids in the intestine, and both are removed from the body as waste. As the body loses bile acids, it replaces them by converting cholesterol from the blood to bile acids. This causes the blood levels of cholesterol and LDL to decrease.
Overdose of Clostran 9gm Sachet
The dosage of Clostran 9gm Sachet depends on many factors such as the patient age, health, medical condition or history of the patient and many other conditions.
Please use this medicine as prescribed by your doctor.
Onset of Action of Clostran 9gm Sachet
If you forget to take a dose of Clostran 9gm Sachet, do not take two doses at the same time, there is a risk of overdose.
If you notice any unusual reaction in your body after taking this medicine, contact your doctor immediately or call your local medical emergency number.

Interactions
Drug :- Acetaminophen, beta blockers, cardiac glycosides, corticosteroids, estrogens,
ezetimibe, fat-soluble vitamins (A, D, E, and K), iron preparations, niacin, penicillin G,
phenobarbital, progestins, tetracycline, thiazide diuretics, thyroid hormones, warfarin and other
coumarin derivatives:
May decrease absorption of these drugs. Give other drugs 1 to 2 hours before
or 4 to 6 hours after cholestyramine.
