Breakthrough Bleeding, Dysmenorrhea, Amenorrhea, Cervical Erosion, Abnormal Secretions, Changes In Libido
These side effects can usually occur in patients. However, these are only indicative and not all patients will experience them.
Precautions while taking Depogen 150mg Injection
Do not use Depogen 150mg Injection if you are allergic to - Medroxyprogesterone
If you have heart disease, liver or kidney disease, drug or alcohol addiction, consult your doctor before using Depogen 150mg Injection.
If you are allergic to any medicine or food, consult your doctor before using this medicine.

Dosage of Depogen 150mg Injection
Depogen 150mg Injection contains - Medroxyprogesterone
Medroxyprogesterone suppresses ovulation, possibly by inhibiting pituitary gonadotropin secretion, thus preventing follicular maturation and causing endometrial thinning.

Drug :-
Aminoglutethimide, carbamazepine, fosphenytoin, phenobarbital, phenytoin, rifampin,
topiramate:
May decrease progestin effects. Monitor patient for diminished therapeutic response.
Tell patient to use a nonhormonal contraceptive during therapy with these drugs.
Anticonvulsants, corticosteroids:
These drugs can also reduce bone mass. Monitor patient.
Herb :-
St. John's wort:
May decrease progestin effects. Avoid use together.
Food :-
Caffeine:
May increase caffeine level. Advise caution.
