Do not use Dericip Retard 300 Tablet if you are allergic to - Etofylline/Etophylline, Theophylline

Dericip Retard 300 Tablet contains - Etofylline/Etophylline, Theophylline
Etofylline works in the airways by relaxing muscles, opening breathing passages, and decreasing the lungs' response to irritants. Controlling symptoms of breathing problems can decrease time lost from work or school.
Theophylline inhibits phosphodiesterase enzymes, causing bronchodilation. Normally, these enzymes inactivate cAMP and cGMP, which are responsible for bronchial smoothmuscle relaxation. Theophylline also may cause calcium translocation, antagonize prostaglandins and adenosine receptors, stimulate catecholamines, and inhibit cGMP metabolism.
