Hypertension, High Blood Pressure, Heart Failure
Side effects of Enace D 10 Tablet
The most common side effects of Enace D 10 Tablet are - Headache, Dizziness, Orthostatic Hypotension, Fatigue, Diarrhea, Cough, Syncope, Angina, Abdominal Pain, Vomiting, Nausea, Rash, Asthenia
These side effects can usually occur in patients. However, these are only indicative and not all patients will experience them.
Precautions while taking Enace D 10 Tablet
Do not use Enace D 10 Tablet if you are allergic to - Enalapril, Hydrochlorothiazide
If you have heart disease, liver or kidney disease, drug or alcohol addiction, consult your doctor before using Enace D 10 Tablet.
If you are allergic to any medicine or food, consult your doctor before using this medicine.
Use this medicine under the supervision of your doctor.
To avoid an adverse reaction, consult your doctor if you are already taking other medicines.
Dosage of Enace D 10 Tablet
Enace D 10 Tablet contains - Enalapril, Hydrochlorothiazide
Enalapril works by blocking a substance in the body that causes the blood vessels to tighten. As a result, enalapril relaxes the blood vessels. This lowers blood pressure and increases the supply of blood and oxygen to the heart.
Hydrochlorothiazide increases sodium and water excretion by inhibiting sodium and chloride reabsorption in distal segment of the nephron.
Overdose of Enace D 10 Tablet
The dosage of Enace D 10 Tablet depends on many factors such as the patient age, health, medical condition or history of the patient and many other conditions.
Please use this medicine as prescribed by your doctor.
Onset of Action of Enace D 10 Tablet
If you forget to take a dose of Enace D 10 Tablet, do not take two doses at the same time, there is a risk of overdose.
If you notice any unusual reaction in your body after taking this medicine, contact your doctor immediately or call your local medical emergency number.

Interactions
Drug :- Alcohol, antihypertensive agents, diuretics may increase effects. NSAIDs may decrease antihypertensive effect, increase risk of possible acute renal failure.
Potassium-sparing diuretics, potassium supplements may cause hyperkalemia. May increase lithium concentration, toxicity.
Herbs :- Ephedra, ginseng, yohimbe may worsen hypertension. Garlic may increase antihypertensive effect. Licorice may cause sodium/water retention, loss of potassium.
Lab Values :- May increase serum BUN, alkaline phosphatase, bilirubin, creatinine, potassium, ALT, AST. May decrease serum sodium. May cause positive ANA titer.
