The most common side effects of Lamifin 125mg Tablet DT are - Headache, Abdominal Pain, Anorexia, Diarrhea, Elevated Liver Function Test Results, Flatulence, Hepatic Failure, Indigestion, Nausea, Vomiting
These side effects can usually occur in patients. However, these are only indicative and not all patients will experience them.
Precautions while taking Lamifin 125mg Tablet DT
Do not use Lamifin 125mg Tablet DT if you are allergic to - Terbinafine
If you have heart disease, liver or kidney disease, drug or alcohol addiction, consult your doctor before using Lamifin 125mg Tablet DT.
If you are allergic to any medicine or food, consult your doctor before using this medicine.
Use this medicine under the supervision of your doctor.
To avoid an adverse reaction, consult your doctor if you are already taking other medicines.
Dosage of Lamifin 125mg Tablet DT
Lamifin 125mg Tablet DT contains - Terbinafine
Terbinafine inhibits the conversion of squalene monooxygenase to squalene epoxidase, a key enzyme in fungal biosynthesis. The resulting squalene accumulation weakens cell membranes and creates a deficiency of ergosterol, the fungal membrane component necessary for normal fungal growth.
Overdose of Lamifin 125mg Tablet DT
The dosage of Lamifin 125mg Tablet DT depends on many factors such as the patient age, health, medical condition or history of the patient and many other conditions.

Onset of Action of Lamifin 125mg Tablet DT
If you forget to take a dose of Lamifin 125mg Tablet DT, do not take two doses at the same time, there is a risk of overdose.

Drug :-
beta blockers, MAO inhibitors type B, selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors, tricyclic antidepressants: Possibly increased blood levels of these drugs.
cimetidine, other hepatic enzyme inhibitors: Significantly decreased terbinafine clearance, possibly increased adverse reactions.
hepatotoxic drugs: Increased risk of hepatotoxicity.
rifampin: Increased clearance and decreased effectiveness of terbinafine.

caffeine: Decreased caffeine clearance.
Activity :-
alcohol use: Increased risk of severe hepatitis.
