Maxmala 50 Capsule is used to treat Pain Caused by Nerve Damage, Diabetic neuropathy (diabetic nerve pain), Anxiety disorder.
Side effects of Maxmala 50 Capsule
Maxmala 50 Capsule contains Pregabalin, Methylcobalamin and Alpha Lipoic Acid.
Pregabalin helps to calm abnormal electrical activity within the brain by acting on the nerve cells of the brain, thereby it prevents seizures. It also works on the central nervous system (brain and spinal cord) that blocks the chemical messengers and reduces the intensity of the pain signal.
Methylcobalamin is a form of vitamin B12. Vitamin B12 is a nutrient that helps in keeping the body's nerve and blood cells healthy and helps in making DNA (genetic material in all cells). It also helps prevent anaemia.
Alpha-lipoic acid is an antioxidant that is beneficial for diabetes, diabetic nerve pain, numbness, healing wounds, nerve related symptoms, etc.
Precautions while taking Maxmala 50 Capsule
The most common side effects of Maxmala 50 Capsule are Nausea, Vomiting, Sleepiness, Allergic reactions, Abnormal Thinking, Headache, Dizziness.
These side effects can usually occur in patients. However, these are only indicative and not all patients will experience them.
Dosage of Maxmala 50 Capsule
Do not consume Maxmala 50 Capsule if you are allergic to Pregabalin, Methylcobalamin and Alpha Lipoic Acid.
If you have lung disease, mood disorder, heart disease, liver or Kidney disease, drug or alcohol addiction, consult your doctor before using Maxmala 50 Capsule.
Taking this medicine can make you dizzy or sleepy, do not do anything that requires caution.

Interactions
Drug :-ACE inhibitors:
May increase risk of swelling and hives with concomitant use. Monitor patient.
CNS depressants:
May have additive effects on cognitive and gross motor function. Monitor patient for increased dizziness and somnolence.
Pioglitazone, rosiglitazone:
May cause additive fluid retention and weight gain. Monitor patient closely.
