The most common side effects of Met XL 3D 25/6.25 Tablet ER are - Fatigue, Headache, Nausea, Low levels of potassium, Dizziness, Drowsiness

Do not use Met XL 3D 25/6.25 Tablet ER if you are allergic to - Chlorthalidone, Metoprolol, Telmisartan

Dosage of Met XL 3D 25/6.25 Tablet ER
Met XL 3D 25/6.25 Tablet ER contains - Chlorthalidone, Metoprolol, Telmisartan
Chlorthalidone works by making the body lose excess water and salt.
Metoprolol is a selective beta blocker that selectively blocks beta receptors, decreases cardiac output, peripheral resistance and cardiac oxygen consumption, and depresses renin secretion.
Telmisartan blocks angiotensin II from binding to receptor sites in many tissues, including vascular smooth muscle and adrenal glands. This action inhibits the vasoconstrictive and aldosterone-secreting effects of angiotensin II, which reduces blood pressure.
