Precautions while taking Metroquin 300 mg/200 mg Tablet
Do not use Metroquin 300 mg/200 mg Tablet if you are allergic to - Diloxanide, Tinidazole
If you have heart disease, liver or kidney disease, drug or alcohol addiction, consult your doctor before using Metroquin 300 mg/200 mg Tablet.

Dosage of Metroquin 300 mg/200 mg Tablet
Metroquin 300 mg/200 mg Tablet contains - Diloxanide, Tinidazole
Diloxanide works by killing the amoeba that are living in the large bowel. It is not effective against Entamoeba histolytica found in other tissues or organs in the body. Diloxanide is given on its own to treat chronic (long-term) infections.
Tinidazole is an antibiotic that is used to treat certain types of vaginal infections (bacterial vaginosis, trichomoniasis). It is also used to treat certain types of parasite infections (giardiasis, amebiasis). It works by stopping the growth of certain bacteria and parasites.
