The most common side effects of Mignar 50mg Tablet are - Abdominal Pain, Rash, Diarrhea, Flatulence
These side effects can usually occur in patients. However, these are only indicative and not all patients will experience them.
Precautions while taking Mignar 50mg Tablet
Do not use Mignar 50mg Tablet if you are allergic to - Miglitol
If you have heart disease, liver or kidney disease, drug or alcohol addiction, consult your doctor before using Mignar 50mg Tablet.
If you are allergic to any medicine or food, consult your doctor before using this medicine.
Use this medicine under the supervision of your doctor.
To avoid an adverse reaction, consult your doctor if you are already taking other medicines.
Dosage of Mignar 50mg Tablet
Mignar 50mg Tablet contains - Miglitol
Miglitol lowers glucose level by inhibiting enzymes in the small intestine, which delays the digestion of carbohydrates after a meal, resulting in a smaller increase in postprandial glucose level.
Overdose of Mignar 50mg Tablet
The dosage of Mignar 50mg Tablet depends on many factors such as the patient age, health, medical condition or history of the patient and many other conditions.

Onset of Action of Mignar 50mg Tablet
If you forget to take a dose of Mignar 50mg Tablet, do not take two doses at the same time, there is a risk of overdose.

Interactions
Drug :- Digoxin, propranolol, ranitidine:
May decrease bioavailability of these drugs. Monitor
clinical response and adjust dosage.
Insulin, sulfonylureas:
May increase risk of hypoglycemia. Consider decreasing dosages of miglitol,
insulin, and sulfonylureas.
Intestinal adsorbents (charcoal), digestive enzyme preparations (amylase, pancreatin):
May reduce effect of miglitol. Avoid using together.
