The most common side effects of Mycamine 50mg Injection are - Headache, Insomnia, Anxiety, Vascular Disorders, Edema, Dizziness, Atrial Fibrillation, Bradycardia, Pericardial Effusion, Infusion-Site Inflammation, Cardiac Disorders, Hypertension, Hypotension, Cardiac Arrest
These side effects can usually occur in patients. However, these are only indicative and not all patients will experience them.
Precautions while taking Mycamine 50mg Injection
Do not use Mycamine 50mg Injection if you are allergic to - Micafungin
If you have heart disease, liver or kidney disease, drug or alcohol addiction, consult your doctor before using Mycamine 50mg Injection.
If you are allergic to any medicine or food, consult your doctor before using this medicine.
Use this medicine under the supervision of your doctor.
To avoid an adverse reaction, consult your doctor if you are already taking other medicines.
Dosage of Mycamine 50mg Injection
Mycamine 50mg Injection contains - Micafungin
Micafungin inhibits synthesis of an essential component of fungal cell walls. Drug is active against Candida albicans, C. glabrata, C. krusei, C. parapsilosis and C. tropicalis.
Overdose of Mycamine 50mg Injection
The dosage of Mycamine 50mg Injection depends on many factors such as the patient age, health, medical condition or history of the patient and many other conditions.
Please use this medicine as prescribed by your doctor.
Onset of Action of Mycamine 50mg Injection
If you forget to take a dose of Mycamine 50mg Injection, do not take two doses at the same time, there is a risk of overdose.

Interactions
Drug :- CYP3A4 substrates:
May increase concentration of aripiprazole, dofetilide, lomitapide,
and pimozide. Monitor therapy.
Itraconazole:
May increase itraconazole level. Monitor for itraconazole toxicity, and reduce
itraconazole dose if needed.
Nifedipine:
May increase nifedipine level. Monitor BP, and decrease nifedipine dose if needed.
Sirolimus:
May increase sirolimus level. Monitor patient for evidence of toxicity, and decrease
sirolimus dose if needed.
