Precautions while taking Niftas 100mg Tablet SR
Do not use Niftas 100mg Tablet SR if you are allergic to - Nitrofurantoin
If you have heart disease, liver or kidney disease, drug or alcohol addiction, consult your doctor before using Niftas 100mg Tablet SR.
If you are allergic to any medicine or food, consult your doctor before using this medicine.
Use this medicine under the supervision of your doctor.

Niftas 100mg Tablet SR contains - Nitrofurantoin

Interactions
Drug :-
Antacids containing magnesium:
May decrease nitrofurantoin absorption. Separate
dosage times by 1 hour.
Probenecid, sulfinpyrazone:
May inhibit excretion of nitrofurantoin, increasing drug levels and risk
of toxicity. The resulting decreased urinary levels could lessen antibacterial effects. Avoid using
together.
Food :-
Any food:
May increase absorption. Advise patient to take drug with food or milk.
