Uses of Omez-Dsr Capsule
Omez-Dsr Capsule is used for the treatment or prevention of the following disease(s):
Relieve Symptoms (Heartburn, Nausea, Vomiting, Bloating), Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease (GERD), Gastric Ulcer
Side effects of Omez-Dsr Capsule
The most common side effects of Omez-Dsr Capsule are - Nausea, Rash, Diarrhea, Itching, Dry mouth, Abdominal cramps
These side effects can usually occur in patients. However, these are only indicative and not all patients will experience them.
Precautions while taking Omez-Dsr Capsule
Do not use Omez-Dsr Capsule if you are allergic to - Domperidone, Omeprazole
If you have heart disease, liver or kidney disease, drug or alcohol addiction, consult your doctor before using Omez-Dsr Capsule.
If you are allergic to any medicine or food, consult your doctor before using this medicine.
Use this medicine under the supervision of your doctor.
To avoid an adverse reaction, consult your doctor if you are already taking other medicines.
Dosage of Omez-Dsr Capsule
Omez-Dsr Capsule contains - Domperidone, Omeprazole
Domperidone works by blocking the action of a chemical messenger in the brain which causes the feeling of nausea and vomiting, as well as increasing the movement or contractions of the stomach and intestines, allowing food to move more easily through the stomach.
Esomeprazole works by decreasing the amount of acid made in the stomach.
Overdose of Omez-Dsr Capsule
The dosage of Omez-Dsr Capsule depends on many factors such as the patient age, health, medical condition or history of the patient and many other conditions.
Please use this medicine as prescribed by your doctor.
Onset of Action of Omez-Dsr Capsule
If you forget to take a dose of Omez-Dsr Capsule, do not take two doses at the same time, there is a risk of overdose.
If you notice any unusual reaction in your body after taking this medicine, contact your doctor immediately or call your local medical emergency number.

Interactions
Drug :-
antimicrobials: Increased esomeprazole level.
atazanavir, nelfinavir: Decreased blood levels of these drugs.
diazepam: Possibly increased diazepam level.
digoxin, iron salts, ketoconazole: Possibly decreased absorption of these drugs.
saquinavir: Increased plasma saquinavir level with increased toxicity.
voriconazole: Increased esomeprazole exposure and risk of adverse effects.
warfarin: Possibly increased INR and PT, leading to abnormal bleeding.
Food :-
all foods: Decreased bioavailability of esomeprazole.
