Side effects of Tancodep 2mg/25mg Tablet
The most common side effects of Tancodep 2mg/25mg Tablet are - Oily Skin and Acne, Facial Hair In Women, High Blood Pressure, Hair Loss, Stomach Upset, Changes In Menstrual Cycle, Skin Thickening, Deepening of the Voice In Women, Fatigue
These side effects can usually occur in patients. However, these are only indicative and not all patients will experience them.
Precautions while taking Tancodep 2mg/25mg Tablet
Do not use Tancodep 2mg/25mg Tablet if you are allergic to - Diazepam, Imipramine
If you have heart disease, liver or kidney disease, drug or alcohol addiction, consult your doctor before using Tancodep 2mg/25mg Tablet.
If you are allergic to any medicine or food, consult your doctor before using this medicine.
Use this medicine under the supervision of your doctor.
To avoid an adverse reaction, consult your doctor if you are already taking other medicines.
Dosage of Tancodep 2mg/25mg Tablet
Tancodep 2mg/25mg Tablet contains - Diazepam, Imipramine
Diazepam works by acting on receptors in the brain called GABA receptors. This causes the release of a neurotransmitter called GABA in the brain.
Imipramine increasing the amount of norepinephrine and serotonin neurotransmitters available in certain parts of the brain and which helps to elevate mood and eliminate or reduce other symptoms associated with depression.
Overdose of Tancodep 2mg/25mg Tablet
The dosage of Tancodep 2mg/25mg Tablet depends on many factors such as the patient age, health, medical condition or history of the patient and many other conditions.
Please use this medicine as prescribed by your doctor.
Onset of Action of Tancodep 2mg/25mg Tablet
If you forget to take a dose of Tancodep 2mg/25mg Tablet, do not take two doses at the same time, there is a risk of overdose.
If you notice any unusual reaction in your body after taking this medicine, contact your doctor immediately or call your local medical emergency number.

Interactions
Drug :-
antacids: Altered rate of diazepam absorption.
anticonvulsants: Decreased effectiveness of these drugs.
cimetidine, disulfiram, fluoxetine, fluvoxamine, isoniazid, itraconazole, ketoconazole, metoprolol, omeprazole, oral contraceptives, propoxyphene, propranolol, valproic acid: Decreased diazepam metabolism, increased blood level and risk of adverse effects.
CNS depressants: Increased CNS depression.
digoxin: Increased serum digoxin level and risk of digitalis toxicity.
levodopa: Decreased antidyskinetic effect of levodopa.
phenytoin: Decreased metabolic elimination of phenytoin, increased risk of adverse reactions.
probenecid: Faster onset or more prolonged effects of diazepam.
ranitidine: Delayed elimination and increased blood level of diazepam.
rifampin: Decreased blood diazepam level.
theophyllines: Antagonized sedative effect of diazepam.
