The most common side effects of Telkonol M 40mg/25mg Tablet are - Headache, Back Pain, Dizziness, Atrial Fibrillation, Abdominal Pain, Diarrhea, Sinus Inflammation, Indigestion, Nausea, Vomiting
These side effects can usually occur in patients. However, these are only indicative and not all patients will experience them.
Precautions while taking Telkonol M 40mg/25mg Tablet
Do not use Telkonol M 40mg/25mg Tablet if you are allergic to - Telmisartan, Metoprolol

Telkonol M 40mg/25mg Tablet contains - Telmisartan, Metoprolol
Telmisartan blocks angiotensin II from binding to receptor sites in many tissues, including vascular smooth muscle and adrenal glands. This action inhibits the vasoconstrictive and aldosterone-secreting effects of angiotensin II, which reduces blood pressure.
Metoprolol is a selective beta blocker that selectively blocks beta receptors, decreases cardiac output, peripheral resistance and cardiac oxygen consumption, and depresses renin secretion.

Interactions
Drug :-
digoxin: Increased peak blood digoxin level and risk of digitalis toxicity.
diuretics, other antihypertensives: Enhanced hypotensive effect.
lithium: Increased serum lithium levels and toxicity.
ramipril: Increased serum ramipril level, decreased telmisartan level.
