The most common side effects of Telma D 40mg/1.5mg Tablet are - Headache, Back Pain, Dizziness, Atrial Fibrillation, Abdominal Pain, Diarrhea, Sinus Inflammation, Indigestion, Nausea, Vomiting
These side effects can usually occur in patients. However, these are only indicative and not all patients will experience them.
Precautions while taking Telma D 40mg/1.5mg Tablet
Do not use Telma D 40mg/1.5mg Tablet if you are allergic to - Telmisartan, Indapamide
If you have heart disease, liver or kidney disease, drug or alcohol addiction, consult your doctor before using Telma D 40mg/1.5mg Tablet.

Telma D 40mg/1.5mg Tablet contains - Telmisartan, Indapamide
Telmisartan blocks angiotensin II from binding to receptor sites in many tissues, including vascular smooth muscle and adrenal glands. This action inhibits the vasoconstrictive and aldosterone-secreting effects of angiotensin II, which reduces blood pressure.
Indapamide enhances excretion of sodium chloride and water by interfering with sodium transport in the distal tubule.

The dosage of Telma D 40mg/1.5mg Tablet depends on many factors such as the patient age, health, medical condition or history of the patient and many other conditions.

digoxin: Increased peak blood digoxin level and risk of digitalis toxicity.
diuretics, other antihypertensives: Enhanced hypotensive effect.
lithium: Increased serum lithium levels and toxicity.
ramipril: Increased serum ramipril level, decreased telmisartan level.
