The most common side effects of Tenoric-LD 50/6.25 Tablet are - Dizziness, Drowsiness, Fatigue, Fever, Lethargy, Light-Headedness, Short-Term Memory Loss, Vertigo
These side effects can usually occur in patients. However, these are only indicative and not all patients will experience them.
Precautions while taking Tenoric-LD 50/6.25 Tablet
Do not use Tenoric-LD 50/6.25 Tablet if you are allergic to - Atenolol, Chlorthalidone
If you have heart disease, liver or kidney disease, drug or alcohol addiction, consult your doctor before using Tenoric-LD 50/6.25 Tablet.
If you are allergic to any medicine or food, consult your doctor before using this medicine.

Dosage of Tenoric-LD 50/6.25 Tablet
Tenoric-LD 50/6.25 Tablet contains - Atenolol, Chlorthalidone
Atenolol inhibits stimulation of beta1-receptor sites, located mainly in the heart, decreasing cardiac excitability, cardiac output, and myocardial oxygen demand. Atenolol also acts to decrease release of renin from the kidneys, aiding in reducing blood pressure.
Chlorthalidone works by making the body lose excess water and salt.
Overdose of Tenoric-LD 50/6.25 Tablet
The dosage of Tenoric-LD 50/6.25 Tablet depends on many factors such as the patient age, health, medical condition or history of the patient and many other conditions.

Onset of Action of Tenoric-LD 50/6.25 Tablet
If you forget to take a dose of Tenoric-LD 50/6.25 Tablet, do not take two doses at the same time, there is a risk of overdose.

Interactions
Drug :-
amiodarone: Additive atenolol effects calcium channel blockers, such as verapamil and diltiazem: Possibly symptomatic bradycardia and conduction abnormalities.
catecholamine-depleting drugs, such as reserpine: Additive antihypertensive effect.
clonidine: Rebound hypertension.
disopyramide: Increased risk of severe bradycardia, asystole, and heart failure.
