Side effects of Theo-Asthalin Tablet
The most common side effects of Theo-Asthalin Tablet are - Fever, Headache, Insomnia, Sleep Disturbance, Chest Pain, Abdominal Pain, Constipation, Diarrhea,Nausea, Vomiting
These side effects can usually occur in patients. However, these are only indicative and not all patients will experience them.
Precautions while taking Theo-Asthalin Tablet
Do not use Theo-Asthalin Tablet if you are allergic to - Salbutamol / Albuterol, Theophylline
If you have heart disease, liver or kidney disease, drug or alcohol addiction, consult your doctor before using Theo-Asthalin Tablet.
If you are allergic to any medicine or food, consult your doctor before using this medicine.
Use this medicine under the supervision of your doctor.
To avoid an adverse reaction, consult your doctor if you are already taking other medicines.
Dosage of Theo-Asthalin Tablet
Theo-Asthalin Tablet contains - Salbutamol / Albuterol, Theophylline
Salbutamol works by stimulating receptors in the lungs called beta 2 receptors. This causes the muscles in the airways to relax and allows the airways to open.
Theophylline inhibits phosphodiesterase enzymes, causing bronchodilation. Normally, these enzymes inactivate cAMP and cGMP, which are responsible for bronchial smoothmuscle relaxation. Theophylline also may cause calcium translocation, antagonize prostaglandins and adenosine receptors, stimulate catecholamines, and inhibit cGMP metabolism.
Overdose of Theo-Asthalin Tablet
The dosage of Theo-Asthalin Tablet depends on many factors such as the patient age, health, medical condition or history of the patient and many other conditions.

Onset of Action of Theo-Asthalin Tablet
If you forget to take a dose of Theo-Asthalin Tablet, do not take two doses at the same time, there is a risk of overdose.
