Ventisol 15 mg/50 mg/1 mg Expectorant contains - Ambroxol, Guaifenesin, Salbutamol/Albuterol
Ambroxol is a mucoactive drug with several properties including secretolytic and secretomotoric actions that restore the physiological clearance mechanisms of the respiratory tract which play an important role in the body's natural defence mechanisms.
Guaifenesin works by thinning and loosening mucus in the airways, clearing congestion and making breathing easier.
Salbutamol works by stimulating receptors in the lungs called beta 2 receptors. This causes the muscles in the airways to relax and allows the airways to open.
