Uses of Zepdon 400mg Tablet
Zepdon 400mg Tablet is used for the treatment or prevention of the following disease(s):
HIV-1 Infection, with Other Antiretrovirals, in Patients Age 4 Weeks and Older Weighing At Least 3 Kg
Side effects of Zepdon 400mg Tablet
The most common side effects of Zepdon 400mg Tablet are - Headache, Fatigue, Dizziness, Insomnia, Nausea, Abdominal Pain, Vomiting, Lipodystrophy, Rash, Stevens-Johnson Syndrome, Toxic Epidermal Necrolysis
These side effects can usually occur in patients. However, these are only indicative and not all patients will experience them.
Precautions while taking Zepdon 400mg Tablet
Do not use Zepdon 400mg Tablet if you are allergic to - Raltegravir
If you have heart disease, liver or kidney disease, drug or alcohol addiction, consult your doctor before using Zepdon 400mg Tablet.
If you are allergic to any medicine or food, consult your doctor before using this medicine.
Use this medicine under the supervision of your doctor.
To avoid an adverse reaction, consult your doctor if you are already taking other medicines.
Dosage of Zepdon 400mg Tablet
Zepdon 400mg Tablet contains - Raltegravir
Raltegravir inhibits HIV-1 integrase, an enzyme required for HIV-1 replication.
Overdose of Zepdon 400mg Tablet
The dosage of Zepdon 400mg Tablet depends on many factors such as the patient age, health, medical condition or history of the patient and many other conditions.
Please use this medicine as prescribed by your doctor.
Onset of Action of Zepdon 400mg Tablet
If you forget to take a dose of Zepdon 400mg Tablet, do not take two doses at the same time, there is a risk of overdose.
If you notice any unusual reaction in your body after taking this medicine, contact your doctor immediately or call your local medical emergency number.

Interactions
Drug :- Antacids containing aluminum or magnesium:
Ingestion within 2 hours of raltegravir
administration significantly decreases raltegravir plasma level. Use alternative antacids, such as
those containing calcium carbonate.
Fibric acid derivatives, HMG-CoA reductase inhibitors:
May increase risk of rhabdomyolysis.
Monitor therapy.
UGT1A1 inducers (rifampin):
May decrease raltegravir level. Adjust raltegravir dosage to 800 mg
b.i.d. when administering with rifampin.
