Zyrona 5mg Injection is used for the treatment or prevention of the following disease(s):
Hypercalcemia (Caused by Cancer), Osteoporosis in Postmenopausal Women
Side effects of Zyrona 5mg Injection
The most common side effects of Zyrona 5mg Injection are - Headache, Heartburn, Difficulty In Swallowing, Musculoskeletal Pain
These side effects can usually occur in patients. However, these are only indicative and not all patients will experience them.
Precautions while taking Zyrona 5mg Injection
Do not use Zyrona 5mg Injection if you are allergic to - Zoledronate
If you have heart disease, liver or kidney disease, drug or alcohol addiction, consult your doctor before using Zyrona 5mg Injection.
If you are allergic to any medicine or food, consult your doctor before using this medicine.
Use this medicine under the supervision of your doctor.

Zoledronic acid belongs to a class of drugs known as bisphosphonates. It lowers high blood calcium levels by reducing the amount of calcium released from bones into blood. It also works by slowing the breakdown of bones by cancer to prevent bone fractures.

Interactions
Drug :-
aminoglycosides: Possibly additive serum calcium-lowering effect.
loop diuretics, such as furosemide: Possibly increased risk of hypocalcemia.
NSAIDs: Increased risk of nephrotoxicity.
